The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), on September 21, 2026, issued a corrigendum to its notification bearing Ref. No. HQ-PUB013/1/2020-PUB-BIS (1488) dated March 16, 2026, published on March 19, 2026. The corrigendum amends the date specified against Sl. No. 02, Column (5) of the Schedule to the earlier notification.
The corrigendum substitutes “12 March 2027” in place of “12 September 2026”. Accordingly, the date applicable to the item at Sl. No. 02 of the Schedule has been extended by six months.
The amendment has been issued pursuant to Rule 15(1) of the Bureau of Indian Standards Rules, 2018 and forms part of the relevant Government notification published in Part III, Section 4 of the Gazette of India.
