The Ministry Of Communications (MoC) on September 18, 2026, has notified the revised TEC56432609 – Essential Requirements for E-band Fixed Radio Relay System under Section 19 of the Telecommunications Act, 2023 read with the Telecommunications (Framework to Notify Standards, Conformity Assessment and Certification) Rules, 2025. The revised standard takes effect from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
The existing standard and the revised standard will remain concurrently applicable for 90 days from the date of publication. After this transition period, only the revised standard will be applicable to the specified telecommunication equipment.
