Industry Specific ComplianceThe International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) on July 13, 2026, notified the implementation of the Department of Commerce Instruction No. 122 – Organizational Changes in IFSC Units.

IFSCA has implemented Department of Commerce Instruction No. 122 dated January 5, 2026, concerning organizational changes such as change of name, shareholding pattern, business transfer arrangements, mergers/demergers, change of constitution and change of directors in SEZ Developers/Co-developers and SEZ Units. IFSC Units are not required to file separate intimations for such changes on the SEZ Online Portal; applicable compliance under IFSCA regulations should continue to be submitted to the respective IFSCA Divisions. The Administrator (IFSCA) will obtain the relevant information from these divisions and place it before the UAC periodically. Where a change in name or constitution requires amendment of the Letter of Approval (LOA), the Administrator’s office will update the SEZ Online Portal and issue a revised LOA.
