The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on September 25, 2026, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Technical Supply Conditions for Threaded Steel Fasteners.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the dates of Establishment shall be September 15, 2026 -
• IS 1367 (Part 14/Sec 3) : 2026 ISO 3506-3 : 2025 Technical Supply Conditions for Threaded Steel Fasteners.
• IS 1367 (Part 14/Sec 6) : 2026 ISO 3506-6 : 2020 Technical Supply Conditions for Threaded Steel Fasteners Part 14 Mechanical Properties of Corrosion-Resistant Stainless-Steel Fasteners Section 6 General Rules for the Selection of Stainless Steels and Nickel Alloys for Fasteners.
• IS 1407 : 2026 Round Paint Tins — Specification (Third Revision).
• IS 1946 (Part 1) : 2026 Fixing Devices in Walls, Ceilings and Floors of Solid Construction Part 1 General Provisions — Code of Practice (First Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be March 15, 2027: -
• IS 1367 (Part 14/Sec 3) : 2018 ISO 3506-3 : 2009 Technical Supply Conditions for Threaded Steel Fasteners.
• IS 1407 – 1980 Specification for Round Paint Tins (Second Revision).
• IS 1946 – 1961 Code of Practice for use of Fixing Devices in walls, Ceilings and Floors of Solid Construction.
• IS 2771 (Part II) – 1975 Specification for Fibreboard Boxes Part II Solid Fibreboard Boxes (First Revision).
