The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on October 01, 2026, notified regarding the reporting of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications and systems offered and used by market intermediaries.
NCDEX has directed all active Trading Members using algorithmic software, who executed at least one trade during April 2026 to September 2026, to submit details of their AI/ML applications and systems as on September 30, 2026 by October 15, 2026 through the NCFE Portal under Compliance → AI/ML. Trading Members registered with NSE are required to submit their AI/ML details only to NSE, while members not registered with NSE shall continue reporting to NCDEX. A separate submission is required for each AI/ML application/system, and members not using AI/ML shall also submit a declaration confirming non-use. The submission facility will remain open from October 1 to October 15, 2026, and submitted data cannot be edited.
