Secretarial ComplianceThe Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on September 30, 2026, issued circular on OTP-Based Authentication for Physical BO Modification Requests.

Based on the representations received from DPs regarding the readiness of their systems and to facilitate the smooth introduction of the revised process, the timelines for implementation has been extended by two months i.e. on November 27, 2026, End of Day (EOD). 

The DPs are once again advised to make the necessary system changes and ensure readiness accordingly.
