Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Ministry of Finance (MoF) on September 30, 2026, issued notification to amend notification no. No. 06/2026-Central Excise, dated March 26, 2026, related to the Special Additional Excise Duty (SAED) on the export of petroleum products like petrol and high-speed diesel.

The following amendments have been stated:

• In the said notification, in the Table, against serial number 2, in column (4), for the entry, the entry “Rs. 16 per litre” shall be substituted. 

This notification shall come into force with effect from October 01, 2026.
