The Bombay Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 01, 2026, issued circular on Risk Based Supervision (RBS) - Submission of information for the period April 01, 2026 – September 30, 2026 (Half Year ended Sept - 2026).
Trading Members are required to submit Risk Based Supervision (RBS) data for the period April 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026 electronically through the BEFS portal under “Risk Based Supervision” by November 30, 2026. The submission is mandatory for all active Exchange Members who have executed at least one trade during the assessment period. No physical submission is required, and the prescribed data and submission procedure are provided in the respective annexures.
The RBS data submitted by Members is shared with SEBI. Delay or non-submission may attract disciplinary action, including daily monetary charges, prohibition on new client registration and eventual disablement of trading facilities across segments. For repeat instances, the applicable monetary penalty may be escalated by 50%, along with other prescribed disciplinary measures.
