The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) on September 25, 2026, issued a notification regarding the initiation of an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of BIS (2,2,6,6 Tetramethyl-4- Piperidyl) Sebacate (“UV 770”) originating in or exported from the European Union and China PR.
The following has been stated: -
•The DGTR has initiated an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of Bis (2,2,6,6 Tetramethyl-4-Piperidyl) Sebacate (UV 770) originating in or exported from the European Union and China PR.
•The investigation was initiated on an application filed by Clean Science and Technology Ltd. and Clean Fino-Chem Ltd., representing the domestic industry.
•The investigation seeks to determine whether the subject goods are being dumped and causing injury to the domestic industry under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 and Anti-Dumping Rules, 1995.
•DGTR has notified the concerned governments, producers/exporters, importers and users and invited participation through prescribed questionnaires and submissions.
