The Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoC&I) on October 02, 2026, issued a notification regarding the extension of the RoDTEP Scheme for exporters up to December 31, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The Department of Commerce has extended the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) Scheme up to December 31, 2026 for exports by DTAs, Advance Authorisation holders, SEZ Units and EOUs.
•The scheme provides remission of embedded and un-rebated Central, State and local duties, taxes and levies borne on exported products, including prior-stage cumulative indirect taxes.
•The existing RoDTEP rates and value caps under Appendices 4R and 4RE applicable as on September 30, 2026, will continue unchanged during the extended period.
•The extension is intended to provide continued support to exporters and maintain competitiveness in international markets.
