The Ministry Of Power (MoP) on October 03, 2026, issued corrigendum to Notification No. S.O. 5346(E) dated September 29, 2026 related to the Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) Norms for M1 Category Motor Vehicles, 2027–2032.
The Ministry issued a corrigendum, making corrections to various provisions, formulas, definitions, fuel-consumption calculations, certification requirements and trading-window provisions under the notification. The corrigendum also clarifies requirements applicable to vehicle manufacturers for models available for sale from April 1, 2027.
