The Ministry of Commerce & Industry on October 02, 2026, extended the timelines under Component II of RELIEF – Resilience & Logistics Intervention for Export Facilitation, introduced under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) to support exporters affected by continued geopolitical and maritime disruptions in West Asia.
Component II provides 95% ECGC risk coverage for eligible upcoming shipments to specified regions under Stand Alone or Whole Turnover Policies obtained on or after March 16, 2026. It covers FCL, LCL and Reefer cargo, excluding energy shipments, while ensuring that exporters’ insurance premiums are not increased beyond pre-disruption levels during the eligible period.
