The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on October 05, 2026, notified regarding the Display of “investor awareness message(s)” by Trading Members on their trading apps and websites, under Project Jagrook.
SEBI has mandated Trading Members to display investor awareness messages under Project Jagrook and the World Investor Week 2026 initiative. From October 5, 2026 to October 31, 2026, the prescribed message must be displayed on Trading Members’ websites, while display on trading apps is voluntary. During this period, if the message is displayed on the app, risk disclosure display on the app will be optional.
From November 1, 2026, the investor awareness message must be mandatorily displayed on the landing page of Trading Members’ websites and trading apps. On apps, the Project Jagrook message and existing risk disclosure must be displayed on alternate days—Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday for the investor awareness message, and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for the risk disclosure. The messages must be displayed in Hindi-English bilingual format and may be updated weekly as communicated by SEBI.
