Commercial Compliance The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on September 25, 2026, issued an amendment to its older notification stating the extension in the implementation date.

BIS has amended the notification issued vide Ref. No. HQ-PUB013/1/2020-PUB-BIS (1490) dated March 18, 2026, published on March 23, 2026. Under Sl. No. 17, Column (5) of the Schedule, the date “September 12, 2026” has been substituted with “September 12, 2027”, thereby extending the applicable timeline by one year.
