The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on September 25, 2026, issued a corrigendum to an older notification related to the extension of the Validity Date for the Specified Standard.
The following has been stated: -
•BIS has amended the notification dated March 24, 2026, concerning the relevant standard listed at Sl. No. 07 of the Schedule.
•The date ‘23 September 2026’ specified in column (5) of the Schedule has been substituted with ‘23 September 2027’.
•Accordingly, the applicable validity/implementation period for the specified standard has been extended by one year.
