The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on October 05, 2026, issued a circular regarding submission of Internal Audit Report for the half year ended on September 30, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•MCX has issued guidelines for half-yearly internal audit of Members for the period ended September 30, 2026, requiring appointment of independent qualified Chartered Accountants, Company Secretaries or Cost and Management Accountants in practice, subject to auditor rotation requirements.
•Internal Audit Reports, digitally signed by auditors and accompanied by management comments, must be submitted electronically to the Exchange by November 30, 2026.
•Members must close reported non-compliances within two months from the submission due date, i.e., by January 31, 2027.
•Critical non-compliances, including unrecovered client fund/net-worth shortfalls and offering assured returns or mobilising deposits, must be reported to MCX within two days.
