EHS ComplianceThe Commission for Air Quality Management in NCR and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) on October 06, 2026, mandates Installation of PTZ Cameras at Industries to ensure Comprehensive Real-time Monitoring of Fuel Use and Compliance in NCR.

The CAQM has directed industries in the NCR to install additional Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras by October 31, 2026 for comprehensive real-time monitoring of fuel consumption and compliance with CAQM directions. Cameras shall cover all fuel storage and fuel charging areas and, where gas-based fuel is used, the gas gauge/meter. Industries shall provide real-time video streaming to CPCB and concerned SPCB/DPCC servers with adequate power backup. CPCB and the concerned SPCBs/DPCC are required to establish the necessary portals and infrastructure for remote monitoring, with implementation status to be submitted to CAQM by November 1, 2026.

The measure supplements existing CPCB requirements for PTZ cameras and OCEMS and aims to address continued use of unapproved fuels and strengthen monitoring of industrial emissions in the NCR.
