EHS ComplianceThe Pollution Control Committee, U. T. Administration of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu on September 29, 2026, notified the Mandatory Registration on the National Hazardous Waste Tracking System (NHWTS)

The Committee has directed all industrial establishments involved in the generation, transportation, storage, recycling, utilisation or disposal of hazardous waste to compulsorily register on CPCB’s National Hazardous Waste Tracking System (NHWTS) within 15 days from the date of issue of the circular. The direction is issued with reference to Rule 6 of the Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management and Transboundary Movement) Rules, 2016, under which occupiers handling hazardous and other waste are required to obtain authorisation by applying in Form 1. Existing authorised occupiers must also strictly comply with the Hazardous and Other Wastes Rules, as amended from time to time.
