The Government of Arunachal Pradesh on September 08, 2026, issued the Arunachal Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services (Amendment) Bill, 2026 to further amend the Arunachal Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services Act, 2026.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In the Principal Act, in Section 26,-
(i) in sub-section (1),-the words “National Building Codes of India issued by the Ministry of Urban Development” appearing after the word “of” and before the words “the Arunachal Pradesh Building Bye-laws-2019” shall be deleted.
(ii) in sub-section (3), the words “of National Building Codes” appearing after the word “enforcement” and before the words, “by the State” shall be deleted.
• The Arunachal Pradesh Fire and Emergency Services (Amendment) Ordinance, 2026 is hereby repealed.
It shall come into force at once.
