The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on October 06, 2026, issued a notification regarding compliance with TRAI directions and guidelines.
The following has been stated: -
•TRAI has directed Principal Entities (PEs) to review SMS Content Templates, prioritising those used in the preceding 90 days, and ensure all variable fields are appropriately pre-tagged and compliant.
•Logger mode for variable-field scrubbing is currently operational, but TRAI will transition to blocker mode, under which non-compliant SMS traffic will be rejected.
•Entities must complete the compliance exercise, monitor delivery errors, and coordinate with Access Providers by October 17, 2026.
