The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) on October 06, 2026, notified 375 Permissible Works under VB–G RAM G.
The Ministry has notified a new Schedule of 375 permissible works under the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) [VB–G RAM G] Act, 2025, representing a 41% increase over the earlier 266 works. The works are organised under four pillars—Water Security (128), Core Rural Infrastructure (111), Livelihood-related Infrastructure (98), and Disaster Preparedness & Climate Resilience (38)—with emphasis on durable rural assets, agriculture, livelihoods, vulnerable households, women, youth and climate resilience. Works will be identified through Viksit Gram Panchayat Plans, approved by the Gram Sabha, and digitally tracked through the Viksit Bharat National Rural Infrastructure Stack.
