Finance & Taxation ComplianceThe Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) on September 25, 2026, issued a notification regarding an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of Diisononyl Phthalate originating in or exported from Malaysia.

The following has been stated: -

•KLJ Plasticizers Limited and KLJ Petroplast Limited filed an application seeking initiation of an anti-dumping investigation on imports of Diisononyl Phthalate (DINP) from Malaysia and Korea RP.

•The Designated Authority found a negative injury margin for Korea RP and accordingly initiated the investigation only against imports from Malaysia.

•An anti-dumping investigation was initiated vide Case No. AD (OI) – 08/2025 dated September 27, 2025, under the Anti-Dumping Rules.

•The Authority notified the Malaysian Government, producers/exporters, importers/users and other interested parties and circulated the non-confidential version of the application.

•Exporter questionnaires were issued to UPC Chemicals (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, SolGreen and NH Trading Sdn Bhd; UPC Chemicals responded to the questionnaire.
