The Real Estate Regulatory Authority, Bihar, on September 07, 2026, notified the Bihar Real Estate Regulatory Authority (General) Regulations, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The Bihar Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) General Regulations, 2026 govern matters under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 and proceedings before the Authority.
•The Regulations prescribe online filing of applications for project registration, extension and agent registration, along with applicable fees, charges and documents.
•They also introduce definitions for completed, constructed and lapsed/revoked projects and require additional documents, including specified income-tax returns of promoters, for project registration.
They shall come into force on September 07, 2026.
