The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) on October 03, 2026, notified the Physical Inspection Procedure for Extension of U.P. RERA Project Registration.
U.P. RERA has prescribed a procedure for physical inspection of real estate projects seeking extension of registration under cases falling outside the scope of Section 6 of the RERA Act, 2016. Projects in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad and Lucknow will be inspected by the U.P. RERA Technical Branch, while projects in other districts will generally be inspected by the concerned competent authority, which shall submit its report within one week of receiving the request. The promoter shall be informed before inspection, and the arrangement is effective immediately.
