The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on October 07, 2026, issued a circular regarding Annual Rebalancing of MCX iCOMDEX® Indices for the Year 2027 – Announcement of Weights.
The following has been stated: -
•MCX has announced the 2027 constituent weights and rebalancing dates for its iCOMDEX Bullion, Base Metal, Energy and Composite indices.
•The rebalancing will be undertaken during the respective rollover days in January and February 2027.
•Key changes include increased weights for Silver, Aluminium and Crude Oil, while weights for Gold, Zinc and Natural Gas will be reduced in the respective indices.
•The revised weights will take effect from January 11, January 22, and February 01, 2027, as applicable.
