Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on October 08, 2026, notified the Launch of Crude Sunflower Oil Futures Contracts.

The Exchange has announced the launch of Crude Sunflower Oil Futures (SUNOIL) contracts with effect from October 12, 2026, with initial expiry months of November 2026, December 2026, and January 2027. The contracts will have a trading unit of 5 MT, quotation in ₹/10 Kg, trading hours of 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and a maximum order size of 400 MT. The initial daily price limit is 4%, extendable by 2% after 15 minutes to a maximum of 6%, with a minimum initial margin of 12% or SPAN-based margin, whichever is higher, and an extreme loss margin of 1%. The contracts will be cash-settled, with the final settlement price generally based on the average of the last three available polled spot prices.
