The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on October 08, 2026, announced a Contingency Mock Trading Session on Saturday, 10 October 2026, pursuant to its 2026 contingency drill/mock trading schedule. The mock will cover Trading, NEXTRA, Web NCFE, Web Extranet and NOSS.
The pre-open session will be from 9:45 AM to 10:00 AM. Trading in all commodities other than rainfall contracts will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with trade modification permitted until 1:15 PM. For rainfall contracts RAINMUMBAI and RAINCHNNAI, trading will continue until 2:00 PM, with trade modification until 2:15 PM. A re-login session will be conducted from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Production Web NCFE, Web Extranet and NOSS will remain unavailable from 4:00 AM on 10 October until 12:00 AM on 11 October 2026, while their test portals will be available for the mock.
Members must note that production client allocation, client collateral segregation reporting and limit files will not be processed during the specified mock period. BOD files will be available in the designated mock folder and EOD files can be downloaded from the respective mock folders after the session. Members using approved algorithmic software are mandatorily required to participate in the mock, irrespective of whether their algorithms have changed. Trades executed during the mock will not create any fund or commodity pay-in/pay-out obligations.
