Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on October 9, 2026, issued a reminder requiring all trading members to report cyber security incidents, including cases where no incident occurred, for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. The requirement continues under the Exchange’s existing rules, bye-laws, business rules and earlier circulars.

Trading members must submit the prescribed cyber security incident details through the MCX Member Portal on or before October 15, 2026. Members registered with NSE and other exchanges (BSE, MSE, MCX or NCDEX) are required to submit their details to NSE, which will share the submission with the respective exchanges. Members not registered with NSE must continue submitting directly to MCX through the existing process. The online submission help file is available on the MCX SFTP common path.

The portal will remain open until October 15, 2026. Members who fail to comply may be subject to action deemed appropriate by the Exchange.
