The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) on September 30, 2026, issued a notification regarding the initiation of a mid-term review investigation of the anti-dumping duties imposed on imports of “Sodium Cyanide” originating in or exported from China PR and the European Union.
The following has been stated: -
•The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR), pursuant to an application filed by Superform Chemistries Limited, initiated a mid-term review of anti-dumping duties imposed under Customs Notification No. 10/2024-Customs (ADD) dated June 27, 2024, on imports of Sodium Cyanide originating in or exported from China PR and the European Union.
•The review seeks to assess whether the existing duty rates require modification due to changed circumstances.
•The duties were originally imposed for five years, until June 26, 2029, unless amended or revoked earlier. The product scope remains unchanged, covering Sodium Cyanide classified principally under tariff item 2837 11 00.
•Interested parties may submit comments on the product scope within 15 days from the date of the notification.
