The Department of Food & Public Distribution (DoF&PD) on October 01, 2026, issued a notification regarding the monthly sugar quota and submission of P-II forms for September 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The Directorate clarified the mill-wise monthly sugar quota for domestic sale and dispatch for September 2026, combining allocations for the first and second fortnights, previously issued on August 31, 2026, and September 15, 2026.
•All sugar mills are required to submit the monthly P-II form for September 2026 through the prescribed API by October 7, 2026, in accordance with the total quota specified for each mill.
•The allocation includes quantities assigned to refineries for domestic sale based on the quantity of sugar converted by them.
•The notification is issued solely to facilitate online filing of the monthly P-II form and shall not be treated as a fresh allocation of sugar quota.
