Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Assam on September 25, 2026, issued the Assam Trade Articles (Licensing and Control) (Amendment) Order, 2026 to further amend the Assam Trade Articles (Licensing and Control) order 1982.

The following amendments have been stated:

• In Schedule I, in Part 'E' (Other Articles), for Serial No. 5, for the words "Petroleum Products including Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)", the words "Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)" shall be substituted.
