The Government of Maharashtra on October 09, 2026, has approved guidelines for providing financial assistance to startups to reimburse a portion of the expenses incurred for quality testing and certification under the Maharashtra Startup, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Policy-2025. The initiative aims to strengthen the state’s startup, entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, promote innovation-driven industries, accelerate industrial and economic development, and address unemployment, with a special focus on women, youth and weaker sections in urban and rural areas.
The Maharashtra State Innovation Society has been directed to take immediate necessary steps to implement the financial assistance scheme in accordance with the approved guidelines provided in Form A.
