The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on October 13, 2026, notified regarding the Discontinuation of the existing encrypted mechanism of Interactive Messages in CM, FO, CD, and COM Segments.
The following has been stated:
• NSE has informed members that the existing encryption mechanism using old ports will be discontinued with effect from December 7, 2026, following the introduction of the new encryption mechanism with MD5 checksum removal and the option of immediate acknowledgement of order-related messages. The discontinuation applies to Capital Market (CM), Futures and Options (FO), Currency Derivatives (CD), and Commodity Derivatives (COM) segments. Members using NNF shall migrate to either the new encryption mechanism without MD5 checksum or the mechanism additionally supporting immediate acknowledgement of order-related messages, using the prescribed gateway IP addresses and ports.
• Members using NEAT/NEAT Adapter shall also configure the specified new interactive ports. The existing ports—10827 for CM, 10837 for FO, 10885 for CD, and 10865 for COM—will no longer be supported after the deadline. Members shall complete migration by December 7, 2026, as no extension will be granted.
