The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on October 14, 2026, has directed Trading Members to ensure that all client KYC details are uploaded to the KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs) and that only clients with KRA status of “KYC Registered” or “KYC Validated” are permitted to trade. Members must download the records of PANs marked as “On Hold” or “Not Available” by KRAs through the prescribed UCC download facility and take necessary action in accordance with SEBI guidelines.
Effective October 31, 2026, clients whose KYC records uploaded between September 1, 2026, and September 30, 2026, remain under “On Hold” status, whether Aadhaar-based or non-Aadhaar-based, will be prohibited from trading and squaring off existing open positions until KYC validation requirements are fulfilled. Such open positions will be allowed to expire on their respective contract expiry dates. The Exchange will flag non-compliant PANs as “Not Permitted to Trade,” while PANs that subsequently become KRA-compliant will be permitted to trade from T+1, based on information received from the KRA on T Day.
The list of non-compliant clients is available at: EQ\TRANSACTION\Oct-2026\14-10-2026 Non_Validated_Clients_by_KRAs_Clgno_xxxx.TXT.
