The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on October 16, 2026, scheduled a mock trading session for the Equity Derivatives segment on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Trading members using third-party trading platforms provided by empanelled vendors or in-house systems through ETI APIs may use the session to test their applications, including risk-reduction mode, trading halt and other functionalities. No new BOLT TWS release will be issued.
The session timings are as follows: log-in from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM; pre-open order entry from 10:00 AM to 10:10 AM, followed by matching/confirmation and buffer periods until 10:15 AM; continuous trading from 10:15 AM to 1:10 PM; and trade modification until 1:20 PM. Future contract price bands will be updated between 12:45 PM and 12:50 PM to align with the Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity segment, with revised price bands applied sequentially from 12:50 PM.
The Exchange has clarified that the mock session is intended only for testing and familiarisation. Trades executed during the session will not attract margin, pay-in or pay-out obligations and will not create rights or liabilities. Members are requested to participate actively and submit feedback by 2:00 PM on October 17, 2026.
