Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on October 15, 2026, issued the amendment to the Employees’ Pension Scheme, 2026.

The amendment replaces the phrase “such sum as may be specified by the Central Government” with “wages up to rupees fifteen thousand (Rs. 15,000/-) per month”. It also omits the words “and the Central Government” from the first proviso to Paragraph 4(2). 

The amendment comes into force on September 17, 2026.
