The Government of Maharashtra on October 15, 2026, issued Operational Guidelines and Incentives for Logistics Units under the Maharashtra Logistics Policy 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Maharashtra, vide Government Resolution dated October 15, 2026, has approved operational guidelines and modalities for implementing the Maharashtra Logistics Policy, 2024, including procedures, eligibility criteria, incentive administration, compliance and monitoring mechanisms.
•The guidelines classify logistics parks as Small, Large, Mega and Ultra-Mega based on land area or Fixed Capital Investment (FCI), excluding land cost, and also recognise Multi-Storeyed Logistics Parks.
•Small Logistics Parks require a minimum access road width of 15 metres.
•The guidelines aim to promote logistics infrastructure, multimodal connectivity, private investment and ease of doing business, with the Policy and applicable Government Resolutions prevailing in case of inconsistency.
