The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) on October 13, 2026, issued an advisory regarding prominent source attribution to Sansad TV.
The following has been stated: -
•The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, vide advisory dated October 13, 2026, has advised all private satellite television channels to prominently display the caption “Courtesy: Sansad TV” whenever broadcasting, reproducing, sharing or incorporating proceedings of either House of Parliament or programmes/content produced or provided by Sansad TV.
•The advisory aims to ensure uniform source attribution and greater transparency regarding the origin of parliamentary footage and programmes used across television platforms.
•All private satellite television channels are advised to comply with the prescribed source attribution requirements.
