Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX) on October 16, 2026, issued an advisory informing trading members about common cybersecurity non-compliances identified during a special-purpose cyber revalidation audit conducted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), in coordination with stock exchanges, and through monitoring of brokers’ systems using CERT-In’s Cyber Swachhta Kendra (CSK) platform.

The audit and monitoring exercises identified gaps in members’ understanding and implementation of applicable cybersecurity and cyber resilience requirements. The commonly observed non-compliances are detailed in Annexure A to the advisory, which aims to improve awareness and clarify compliance expectations among trading members.

All trading members are advised to take note of the observations and implement appropriate systems, controls and procedures to strengthen their cybersecurity posture and ensure compliance with applicable SEBI and Exchange circulars relating to the Cyber Security and Cyber Resilience Framework (CSCRF).
