The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on October 19, 2026, notified the Muhurat Trading Session for the Equity Derivatives Segment on account of Diwali Laxmi Pujan.
The Exchange has announced the schedule for the Muhurat Trading Session in the Equity Derivatives Segment on Sunday, November 8, 2026, on the occasion of Diwali Laxmi Pujan. The log-in session will be open from 1:15 PM to 2:05 PM, followed by the pre-open session from 2:05 PM to 2:20 PM, including order entry, matching, and a buffer period. Continuous trading will take place from 2:20 PM to 3:40 PM. Future contract price bands will be updated sequentially from 3:15 PM to 3:20 PM for alignment with the Equity Segment’s CAS. Trade modification will be permitted until 4:15 PM, and trade annulment requests may be submitted until 4:20 PM. Order entry will be randomly stopped during the last two minutes of the applicable order-entry period, after which order matching will commence.
