The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on October 16, 2026, notified the date of establishment and withdrawal of the Indian Standards related to Hot Air Sterilizers.
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the dates of Establishment shall be October 05, 2026 -
• IS 3043: 2026 Earthing — Code of Practice (Third Revision).
• IS 3119: 2026 Hot Air Sterilizers — Specification (Second Revision).
• IS 3831: 2026 Shallow Sterilizer (Dressing Drum) — Specification (Third Revision).
• IS 3993: 2026 Instrument Tray — Specification (Third Revision).
In the following Indian Standards particulars, the Date of Withdrawal shall be April 05, 2027: -
• IS 3043: 2018 Code of Practice for Earthing (Second Revision).
• IS 3119 – 1978 Specification for Hot Air Sterilizers (First Revision).
• IS 3831 – 1979 Specification for Sterilizer, Shallow (Dressing Drum) (Second Revision).
• IS 3993: 1993 Trays, Instruments — Specification (Second Revision).
