The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on October 21, 2026, issued a notification regarding intensification of Aadhaar Seeding of Insured Persons and their Beneficiaries.
The following has been stated: -
•The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has directed all Regional Offices (ROs) and Sub-Regional Offices (SROs) to intensify Aadhaar seeding for Insured Persons (IPs) and their beneficiaries to improve access to medical and cash benefits under the Code on Social Security, 2020.
•The offices must strengthen existing kiosks, organise employer-coordinated camps, resolve pending cases, analyse employer-wise data and use Face Authentication Technology (FAT), wherever feasible.
•They must conduct a one-month, cluster-based intensive drive with defined targets and submit reports on coverage achieved, progress and unresolved issues.
•Zonal Insurance Commissioners (ICs) shall review progress fortnightly and submit zone-wise, field-office-wise reports to Headquarters by the 7th of every month, or the last working day if the 7th is a holiday.
