The Government of Madhya Pradesh, on October 14, 2026, notified the Madhya Pradesh Ease of Doing Business Rules, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The Madhya Pradesh Ease of Doing Business Rules, 2026 establish a comprehensive framework to streamline industrial investment and business operations across notified industrial areas in the state.
•It sets up a multi-tiered institutional governance structure, including the State Investment Facilitation Committee (SIFC), District Investment Facilitation Committees (DIFCs), and the MP Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) as the State Nodal Agency, supported by an EoDB Secretariat.
•A centralized, API-integrated Single Window System is created to process applications, allow self-declarations for low-risk enterprises, and manage business approvals within clear time-bound disposal targets.
•The rules empower state authorities to delegate regulatory approval powers, standardize procedures, and mandate the digital integration of departmental portals for continuous tracking and auditability.
•Additionally, it mandates periodic performance monitoring, grievance redressal mechanisms, and systematic regulatory reviews to continuously lower compliance burdens and encourage economic growth.
