Secretarial ComplianceThe Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCRR), on October 12, 2026, issued instructions to all registered Reporting Entities (REs) regarding the transition from CKYCRR 1.0 to CKYCRR 2.0. The upgraded system was expected to become available tentatively in the first week of November 2026, following completion of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and pilot testing.

Reporting Entities were required to submit requests for changes to Nodal Officer, Institutional Admin User and Sub-User details, as well as RE registration details, through CKYCRR 1.0, along with supporting documents, by October 13, 2026. No further changes to user or registration details would be permitted in CKYCRR 1.0 after this date. All registration requests submitted in CKYCRR 1.0 were to be approved or rejected by October 14, 2026. Physical supporting documents were mandatory for processing registration requests, and approved entities were required to complete testbed activities by October 15, 2026.

Registration requests for which physical documents had not been submitted, requests remaining on hold, and approved requests for which testbed activities were not completed by the prescribed deadline were liable to rejection. Entities whose applications were rejected, including those pending in the testbed, were required to register afresh in CKYCRR 2.0. Reporting Entities should take note of these deadlines and the transition requirements.
