The Ministry of Finance, on October 22, 2026, has extended the validity period specified under Notification No. 30/2026-Customs for the import of raw sugar.
The notification amends paragraph 2 of Notification No. 30/2026-Customs dated August 21, 2026. The existing date of October 31, 2026 has been substituted with December 31, 2026.
Accordingly, the applicable exemption/arrangement for import of 10 lakh MT of raw sugar under the Tariff Rate Quota (TRQ) Scheme is extended up to December 31, 2026, subject to the conditions prescribed in the original notification.
