The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi on October 22, 2026, issued a notification regarding mandatory P-10 Permits for the service of Liquor at Banquet Halls and Farmhouses in Delhi.
The following has been stated: -
•The Delhi Excise Department has mandated that banquet halls and farmhouses hosting social events must obtain a separate P-10 Permit for each event and each hall or space where liquor is served, at a prescribed fee of ₹15,000 per event.
•A special camp will be conducted from October 27, 2026, to November 16, 2026, to facilitate one-time registration of banquet halls and farmhouses on the E-Abkari portal.
•Owners and operators must ensure that a valid permit is obtained before serving liquor and maintain permit records along with invoices evidencing purchase from licensed liquor vendors in Delhi.
•Submission of a permit application alone does not authorise liquor purchase or service at unlicensed premises. Violations will attract action under the applicable provisions of the Delhi Excise Act and Rules.
