The Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) on October 23, 2026, issued a notification regarding the invitation for stakeholder feedback on the BB-PPDR Network Architecture.
The following has been stated: -
•The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) invites public and stakeholder inputs on the proposed Pan-India Broadband Public Protection and Disaster Relief (BB-PPDR) Network to provide mission-critical voice, data and video communication services to police, armed forces, disaster response teams, fire services, medical services and other public safety agencies.
•Stakeholders may submit comments on network design options, technology, comparative advantages and disadvantages, cost efficiency and suitability to Indian conditions.
•The concept note is available on the MHA and Directorate of Coordination Police Wireless (DCPW) websites.
•Feedback must be emailed by November 05, 2026, with the subject line “BB-PPDR Architecture — Stakeholder Feedback.”
