Commercial ComplianceThe Ministry of Textiles, on October 27, 2026, has further extended the validity of the order relating to compulsory use of jute packaging materials.

The amendment extends the period specified in the earlier Order S.O. 1830(E) dated April 22, 2025, by replacing “up to the 30th June, 2025” with “up to the 31st January, 2027 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.”

Accordingly, the existing requirements relating to compulsory use of jute packaging materials will continue up to January 31, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
