The Government of Uttrakhand on October 15, 2026, issued a notification regarding revision of Minimum Wages and Variable Dearness Allowance for Engineering Establishments.
The following has been stated: -
•The notification revises the Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) and total monthly minimum wages for engineering establishments in Uttarakhand employing 50 or more workers for the period from October 01, 2026, to March 31, 2027.
•The revision is based on an average Consumer Price Index of 431 points against the base index of 425 points.
•The revised monthly minimum wages, inclusive of Basic Pay and VDA, are ₹13,995 for unskilled workers, ₹15,313 for semi-skilled workers and ₹17,139 for skilled workers.
