The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) on October 28, 2026, issued the Advisory – Scheduled Maintenance of e-Invoice Services (31 October – 1 November 2026).
It has announced temporary unavailability of certain e-Invoice-related services from October 31, 2026, at 9:00 AM IST, to November 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM IST, due to a scheduled infrastructure upgrade. The affected services include e-Invoice data retrieval and processing from Invoice Registration Portals (IRPs), auto-population of e-Invoice data in GSTR-1, and e-Invoice JSON downloads through the portal and APIs. Taxpayers and other stakeholders are advised to plan their invoicing, data retrieval, and return-preparation activities accordingly. Services are expected to resume after the maintenance is completed.
